Nick and Alison Highton met at Stithian's Windsurfing Club, Cornwall in 1980. They both went on to compete in national and international windsurfing events. Alison was 1989 Division 1 Ladies World Windsurfing Champion and Nick was Navy Windsurfing Champion for many years, winning The Hammond Cup. They have four children, who all enjoy being out on the water in a sailing boat or windsurfing on Hickling broad.

Many of you will know Lizzie well, she has been working with us since 2019. Lizzie is Nick’s sister who has grown up sailing/racing dinghys on the Norfolk Broads and is a qualified sailing instructor and power boat driver. She initially came to help out but very quickly became an invaluable and integral part of Oliver’s Sailing Holidays.
